Arts Fair on the Square, Bloomington Area Arts council and Traditinal Arts Indiana present "Crafting Sound: Indiana Instrument Builders" 10:00 - 6:00 on Saturday, June 17 on the Square in Bloomington, Indiana. Instrument makers will demonstrate and interact with festival visitors. The TAI staff will facilitate group discussions, performances and a narrative stage for artisans. Artists include: Guitar maker Randy Lucas Tamburitza maker Milan Opacich Ukulele Maker Geoff Davis African drum maker Julius Adeniyi Drum maker Roy Spight Fiddle and mandolin maker Larry Hopkins I would love to meet folks face-to-face. Hey Geoff, Since both of our posts are huddling down here at the bottom of the page, unregarded, orphaned, summarily dismissed, I'll give yours a bump! 
Hope you had a good time at your show. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the Bluegrass festival tomorrow in Grass Valley. It's a beautiful area of California, just into the Sierra foothills - big trees and clean air. Nice ukes on your site BTW! |
